How to become a Bolt Food courier in 2026

Food delivery is one of the most flexible ways to earn — you ride when you want and nobody looks over your shoulder. Here is a clear step-by-step guide to starting as a Bolt Food courier in the Manta Driver fleet.

1. Choose your vehicle

You can ride a bike, electric scooter, moped or car. In cities with a dense centre (Bratislava, Košice) a bike or scooter often wins — you weave through traffic and don't worry about parking. On the outskirts and over longer distances a moped or car pays off. You ride your own vehicle.

2. Fill in the online registration

Registration takes a few minutes and runs through InvoK — a fleet management tool. You fill in the basics and we contact you on business days. We handle the paperwork, partnership agreement and invoicing, so you can focus on riding.

3. Get your documents ready

You will need an ID document, a smartphone with internet, your own vehicle, a thermal bag, a food handler's certificate and a trade licence. If you are at least 18, you can start — we also welcome applicants from outside the EU.

4. Hit the road for your first shift

If you have a food handler's certificate and a vehicle, you can ride from the next business day after registering. At first, ride during peak hours (lunchtime and evening) when there are the most orders, and stay in the dense centre. After a few shifts you will get a feel for where and when it pays to be.

How much can you earn

Earnings depend on the number of shifts, the city and the time you ride. Couriers earn around €2,000 a month on average. If you register with the Manta Driver fleet or switch to us by 31 Dec 2026 at the latest, you get a guaranteed 5% commission forever — also after 1 Jan 2027, no hidden fees. Couriers joining from 1 Jan 2027 get 8–12% bands. You get paid every week, usually within minutes of the money arriving from Bolt Food.
