What a typical day of a fleet courier looks like

26 October 2026 · Manta Driver · ← back to blog

What is it like to ride as a courier? No two days are the same, but this is roughly what a typical shift in the Manta Driver fleet looks like.

Before the shift

A quick check of your vehicle — brakes, lights, tyres — and a charged phone with a power bank. Thermal bag ready, change at hand. Before you set off, you check where the busiest restaurant zones are right now.

Lunch peak

Around eleven the work starts. Orders come one after another; you stay in the centre where routes are short. This is where knowing the city pays off — shortcuts and pedestrian zones save minutes and you fit in more deliveries.

Quieter afternoon

After the peak the pace calms down. Time for a break, a coffee and charging your phone. Some keep going, some take the afternoon off — flexibility is exactly why people enjoy this work.

Evening wave

From five the second peak starts and lasts into the evening, longer at weekends. Evenings are usually the strongest for earnings, especially when the weather keeps people indoors.

End of the shift

You finish when you want — you decide about your time. Billing and invoicing are handled by the fleet via InvoK and you get paid every week, so there is no paperwork after your shift. You just put the bag down and you're off.
