Bike, scooter, moped or car? How to choose

Your vehicle decides where and how fast you deliver. There is no single best option — it depends on the city, the distances and your costs.

Bike

Ideal for a dense centre. Zero fuel costs, no parking, and you get through where a car can't. Downside: more physically demanding and more weather-sensitive. Great for the centres of Bratislava, Košice or Žilina.

Electric scooter

A compromise between a bike and an engine — fast, compact and without much physical effort. Suits the centre and medium-length routes. Keep an eye on battery range, which drops in winter.

Moped / motorbike

Greater range and speed — you can handle more distant orders and the outskirts. Higher costs (fuel, insurance, maintenance), but more kilometres per shift.

Car

Best in bad weather and in large cities with longer routes. Comfortable, and it protects both the food and you. Expect parking challenges in the centre and higher running costs.

Start with what you have

You ride your own vehicle. If you are just starting out, begin on the bike you already have — you can try delivery without a big investment and move to a moped or car later.
